Conglomerate. Sequence consisting of alternating bands of conglomerate, soft sandstone and clays.

Lower contact

The Kimin Formation has gradational contact with the Subansiri Fm.

Upper contact

The formation has unconformable contact with the alluvium (NEBasinAlluvium Fm) deposits.

Regional extent

Easternmost Lesser Himalayas.
